Over the last year I have practiced my communication above and below the water, and have learnt what it takes to be a good team member. This experience has given me the confidence to think on my feet and make informed decisions.

My favourite memory from the past year would have to be diving at zero visible for the first time - on an actual job! Aside from the practical skills that I have learnt, I am now more aware of how I’m expected to behave in the workplace.

There are lots of skills I’ve learnt during my learnership such as, how to operate cranes and excavators, working with ropes and how to tie barges onto the bollards.
